ITINERARY


Day 1: Arrive into Phnom Penh
Arrive in Phnom Penh individually, you are assisted through the arrival formalities (VIP fast track service) and then privately transfer to your hotel. Balance of the day is free at leisure.

Day 2: Phnom Penh (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
At 8.30 am assemble at the hotel’s lobby for the sightseeing. Today you will learn Cambodian dark history once Phnom Penh became a ghost town during the brutal Khmer Rouge regime that terrorized the nation in the 1970s and lead to the deaths of over 2 million citizens.Visit the harrowing S-21 Security Prison and talk to a survivor. Then drive to the Choeung Ek Killing Fields Memorial. Lunch at Malis restaurant.At 4.30 pm, transfer to the riverfront and enjoy a relaxing sunset cruise along the Mekong Rivers while observing beauty of this charming city at dusk. Enjoy your dinner at FCC restaurant.

Day 3: Phnom Penh (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
This morning visit the glittering Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, admiring the over 5,000 silver tiles covering the floor and the collection of shiny golden Buddhas, and the National Museum, home to the country’s most important collection of ancient Cambodian artifacts. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon is free at leisure.

Day 4: Phnom Penh – Kep (B/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
This morning aboard your coach for the transfer to Kep (3 hours). Evening join exclusive dinner at the hotel’s floating Sailing Club (available if no rain only) with 1-hour free flow drinks –juices, soft drinks, beer and house wine.

Day 5: Kep (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning is free at leisure.
Afternoon, enjoy the Kep’s city tour. Then drive to explore the quiet river town of Kampot and lastly enjoy a relaxing sunset cruise along the Kampot River. Return to hotel in Kep.

Day 7: Kep – Siem Reap via Phnom Penh (B/D)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
This morning transfer to Phnom Penh Airport for an afternoon flight to Siem Reap. Arrive Siem Reap, meet and transfer to your hotel. This evening enjoy your dinner with Khmer traditional dance “ Apsara Dance” at a local restaurant.

Day 8: Siem Reap (B/D)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
This morning is free at leisure.
At 2.00 pm join a private lecture about Angkor and its newly discovery with an Angkor archeologist Dr. Damian Evans (1 hour including Q & A). Then set off to discover the world’s largest religious monument of Angkor Wat until sunset. Walk its shady cloisters among orange-robed monks and watch the setting sun paint the temple’s lofty prangs (spires) and carved walls gold as dusk falls. Dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 9: Siem Reap (B/L)
Breakfast at the hotel.
This morning continue to explore the ancient fortified city of Angkor Thom, Bayon temple “ The Giant Smiling Faces temple”, the nearby Baphuon, Terraces of the Elephant and the Leper King to view their detailed stone carvings. Lunch at a local restaurant and midday relax at hotel.

Afternoon the mysterious Ta Prohm “Kingdom of the Trees” or “Tomb Raider Temple”, the pink temple of Banteay Srei temple “the Citadel of Women” and Cambodian Landmine museum, founded by Mr. Aki Ra who won the CNN Hero Award in 2010.

Day 10: Siem Reap (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel.
At 9.30 am, commence your private Khmer traditional kitchen lesson. Start with a short walking to Siem Reap market (Old Market) where the colors and aromas of fresh, vibrant ingredients will thrill your senses led by one of kitchen brigade with a shopping list for today’s menu as your guide. A full three courses Khmer menu will be prepared by you, all under professional guidance by the skilled Cambodian chefs. Enjoy your self-made lunch.

Afternoon, stroll around the craft center of Artisan d’Angkor and then set sail on Tonle Sap Lake, the Asia’s biggest fresh lake, to see floating villages and learn about their everyday life on the lake. Your tour guide will offer detailed information on why and how this ecosystem is of such importance, whilst you leisurely partake in sunset cocktails over peanuts served on board by your guide. Farewell dinner at Malis Siem Reap restaurant.

Day 11: Siem Reap – Departure (B)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Free at leisure until transfer to SiemReap Airport for your flight home or next destination (#Flight to be advised). Airport departure assistance is provided.
