ITINERARY


Day 1: Arrive into Phnom Penh (D)
Arrive in Phnom Penh and privately transfer to your hotel. This evening enjoy dinner on a boat cruising on the Mekong Rivers while observing beauty of this charming city at dusk.

Day 2: Phnom Penh (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning you will learn Cambodian dark history by visiting the harrowing S-21 Security Prison and the Choeung Ek Killing Fields Memorial. Phnom Penh became a ghost town during the brutal Khmer Rouge regime that terrorized the nation in the 1970s and lead to the deaths of over 2 million citizens. After lunch, visit the People Improvement Organization (PIO), an NGO Center that provides free quality education, food, clean water, health care and vocational training to over 1,300 under privileged children of the garbage dump. Learn about its heartfelt story and appreciate their achievements. Then your time to stroll around Tuol Tompong Market also know as “Russian Market”, one of the most local market among tourists and locals. Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 3: Phnom Penh (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning enjoy a moderate 3 Km walking tour of Phnom Penh to visit Wat Lanka, Independent Monument, the glittering Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda, admiring the over 5,000 silver tiles covering the floor and the collection of shiny golden Buddhas, and the National Museum, home to the country’s most important collection of ancient Cambodian artifacts. Spend this afternoon learning and practicing basic Khmer traditional dance with young Cambodian dancers, it’s enjoyable and fun!Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.

Day 4: Phnom Penh – Siem Reap (B/L/D)
After breakfast depart for Siem Reap (6-hour drive). You will make some stops along the way for lunch break and to see “the Spider Village” at Skun, where fried tarantula vending as a snack. It’s good for photo taking, testing is not compulsory. This evening enjoy buffet-style dinner with Traditional Khmer Dance “Apsara Dance” performance at a local restaurant.

Day 5: Siem Reap (B/L/D)
Today rise early to catch the spectacular sunrise over the the world’s largest religious ruins of Angkor Wat and discover this mighty temple at dawn, regarded by many as the quintessential Angkor experience. Return to hotel for breakfast. Depart again to explore the ancient fortified city of Angkor Thom, Bayon temple “The Giant Smiling Faces temple”, the nearby Terrace of the Elephant and Terrace of the Leper King, to view their detailed stone carvings. After lunch, visit the mysterious Ta Prohm “Kingdom of the Trees” or “Tomb Raider Temple” and the pink temple of Banteay Srei temple “the Citadel of Women”. Dinner at local restaurant followed by a visit to Angkor’s Night Market.

Day 6: Siem Reap (B/L/D)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
This morning drive to explore Kampong Khleang, another dwelling and the largest community on the fringes of the magnificent Tonlé Sap Lake. Take a boat trip to see its glory as you pass through the village where the fisherman and their families live in stilted houses that dot the landscape. Enjoy a hosted lunch in a local stilt house. Late this afternoon privately visit the Circus Workshop of Phare for team building and learning some basic circus skills guided by Phare’s artists. This evening enjoy your dinner at Phare Café and Restaurant followed by the lively Cambodian Circus Show.

Day 7: Siem Reap – Departure (B)
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel.
Free at leisure until transfer to Siem Reap Airport for your flight home or next destination (#Flight to be advised).
